Grâce-Emmanuelle Akatchi
Research Intern
Hi there!
My name is Grâce-Emmanuelle Akatchi, and I’m currently a research intern. I recently completed my Bachelor of Health Sciences with a minor in Psychology, and I’m in the process of applying to Master’s programs in Psychology. Alongside my studies, I work as a supervised behavioural therapist in a clinic supporting children on the autism spectrum.
I’m deeply curious about research and eager to understand how scientific inquiry contributes to improving mental health outcomes. I’m grateful to Dr. Bernatchez, who has kindly taken me under her guidance as I explore the research field through our current project. My main interests include mental health, autism, and child development.
In my spare time, I enjoy singing, listening to music, and playing tennis.
